Job Role: What You’ll Be Doing
This is a site-based leadership role. You’ll be supervising electricians, ensuring quality and safety, and keeping the workflow smooth.
- Lead, train, and supervise electricians on site
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specs
- Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks
- Handle material ordering and inventory
- Troubleshoot and fix electrical issues quickly
- Maintain clear work records and job logs
- Coordinate with clients, managers, and other trades
- Enforce all safety protocols on site
Qualifications Needed
This isn’t an entry-level job. You need a proven track record and technical strength.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an electrician
- At least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, and maintenance
